We are seeking a visionary and strategic IT Director to lead our technology operations in Egypt. This executive role involves defining and executing the IT strategy to support our business objectives, ensuring the stability and security of our enterprise systems. The IT Director will oversee all aspects of our technology infrastructure, from network administration to software development and cybersecurity. This individual will lead a talented team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Key responsibilities include managing the IT budget, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with all local and international regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience within the Egyptian market, demonstrating a proven ability to drive digital transformation and leverage technology for a competitive advantage. You will be instrumental in shaping our technological future and ensuring our IT operations are efficient, scalable, and secure.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
3. Proven experience in developing and executing IT strategy aligned with business goals.
4. Strong financial acumen with experience managing large IT budgets and vendor contracts.
5. In-depth knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR).
6. Expertise in managing complex IT infrastructure, including cloud services (AWS, Azure), on-premise data centers, and network architecture.
7. Demonstrable experience in cybersecurity management, risk assessment, and incident response.
8. Experience with ERP systems, business intelligence tools, and enterprise applications.
Desirable
1. MBA or other advanced business degree.
2. Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISM, or CISSP.
3. Fluency in both English and Arabic.
4. Experience in the manufacturing, telecommunications, or financial services industry within Egypt.
5. Proven track record of leading successful digital transformation projects.
